D'Amico re-Elected to CCIM Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS, IN  - May 5, 2007 - Wayne D'Amico, CCIM and President of Essex CT based Property Politics has been re-elected to the CCIM Institute Board of Directors for a second 3 year term.  D'Amico has served on the international commercial real estate organization's Board since 2003 beginning with his appointment as Regional Vice President overseeing local Chapter activities in New York and New England.

In his capacity as Board member, D'Amico has served on and chaired several governance committees. He is currently Chairman of the Cultural Diversity Advisory Board, a group commissioned with the task of providing outreach and scholarships to minority groups identified as being under represented nationally in the Commercial and Investment Real Estate profession. D'Amico is also Chair of the New York City Task force, an effort to improve awareness and recognition of the CCIM Designation in the New York Metropolitan Area, the largest financial market in the world.  Raising awareness in this market has implications internationally for the growing membership of the CCIM Institute.

D'Amico is also serving out a two year term on the Partners Advisory Board. The CCIM Partners Program is the networking program of the Institute.  The program involves development and implementation of exclusive member program and an integrated suite of technology tools created to assist CCIM Designees to improve business development opportunities globally.

CCIM Institute confers the CCIM designations to members who have completed a rigorous, graduate level curriculum of advance commercial investment courses as well as demonstrated significant levels of transactional experiences.  Since 1969, Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIMs) have been recognized as experts in all phases of the real estate investment process. Graduates of the most challenging education program in the industry, CCIMs bring an exceptional level of real world experience, market knowledge and negotiation skills to each client assignment.
